Hi, my name is Camila Arias and I am 18 years old. I was born in a small town called Picayune in Mississippi, but my family is originally from El Salvador and made sure that culture is also an important part of my life. Even though I have lived in Guatemala and different cities throughout America, I have always seen New Orleans as my home.
I recently graduated high school from The Academy of the Sacred Heart and NOCCA. During my high school career, I had the privilege of working with great Chefs like Emeril Lagasse, Alon Shaya, David Slater, Joaquin Rodas and many more. I have also worked at large events in New Orleans like Boudin, Bourbon, & Beer and Carnival du Vin (Chef Emeril Lagasse). Recently I was given the opportunity to work at Saba (Chef Alon Shaya) as a line cook. I have always dreamed of opening my own restaurant. In my free time I love going out to eat brunch and spending time with friends.
